About Carly
Growing up in a family-owned wedding photography business has been Carly’s life since the second she was born. Her wedding photography career began at age 10, assisting her father at weddings. Carly was being hired as a 2nd photographer less than 2 years later, and a primary photographer as soon as she had a driver’s license. In the 15+ years of photographing weddings, Carly has seen a multitude of wedding photography trends come and go, and has taken pieces from them all to create her unique style of documenting weddings. She sees the value in a beautifully composed family portrait, as well as candid images revealing the raw emotion of the wedding day. Carly’s style can be best described as a fusion of modern photographic trends, slightly traditional portraiture, and photojournalism. She is incredibly grateful that her passion in life is also her job.
